I was born and raised in Colorado. I started doing childcare back in 2012 when i had my first born. My husband and myself decided to move our little family up to North Dakota and chase the oilfield dream. In 2019 we were blessed with our second son. I have worked with all ages from newborn clear up to school-age. Right before moving to North Dakota i worked at an elementary school in Elizabeth. After moving to North Dakota I helped out at an in-home childcare. Once my oldest son started kindergarten, i thought i wanted to get out of the childcare field. I went to work at a hotel for three months, decided to come back to the childcare working at a facility. After missing out on my son’s activities I decided to open up my own in-home childcare. I have owned and operated Lil Fish Childcare in June 2018. In August 2020 my husband and myself were blessed to be able to open up a facility and expand our childcare.

History

I have been in childcare since 2012. I decided this career path when I had my oldest son and I have always loved working with children.I have my early childhood education degree as well as a CDA certificate. I have worked with all ages, all the way up to infancy to school age children. I worked in three childcare centers and an elementary school as a before and after school teacher. My family and I are originally from Colorado. My husband and I were born and raised there. We decided to move up to North Dakota in 2017 so my husband can follow the oilfield “dream”. We have decided to make Dickinson home with just recently buying our house. I have worked at two daycares up here one was an in-home center. I thought I wanted a different career so I left and went to work at americinn. After working there for a couple of months and missing out on spending some time with our oldest son I decided to go back to childcare. I then got on at Kinderkidz. I was with them for six months before deciding to open up my own in home childcare. I decided to do this because I wanted to spend more time with our oldest son and stop missing out on his sporting events and extracurricular activities and we wanted to try for another child. I opened Lil Fish Childcare in June of 2018. We were blessed with our second son in april 2019. It has been amazing to be able to be home with both of them and watch them grow. My family loves going camping, fishing and traveling. We love taking our dogs on walks as well as just spending time together. We do go to colorado often to visit family there but we have both agreed that we would never live there again. I love providing a loving and nurturing environment for all of my daycare babies. I treat each and every child as if they are my own. I am blessed with great daycare families as well as a supportive husband. I would love for you to consider Lil Fish Childcare for your child/ren.
