I have been in childcare since 2012. I decided this career path when I had my oldest son and I have always loved working with children.I have my early childhood education degree as well as a CDA certificate. I have worked with all ages, all the way up to infancy to school age children. I worked in three childcare centers and an elementary school as a before and after school teacher. My family and I are originally from Colorado. My husband and I were born and raised there. We decided to move up to North Dakota in 2017 so my husband can follow the oilfield “dream”. We have decided to make Dickinson home with just recently buying our house. I have worked at two daycares up here one was an in-home center. I thought I wanted a different career so I left and went to work at americinn. After working there for a couple of months and missing out on spending some time with our oldest son I decided to go back to childcare. I then got on at Kinderkidz. I was with them for six months before deciding to open up my own in home childcare. I decided to do this because I wanted to spend more time with our oldest son and stop missing out on his sporting events and extracurricular activities and we wanted to try for another child. I opened Lil Fish Childcare in June of 2018. We were blessed with our second son in april 2019. It has been amazing to be able to be home with both of them and watch them grow. My family loves going camping, fishing and traveling. We love taking our dogs on walks as well as just spending time together. We do go to colorado often to visit family there but we have both agreed that we would never live there again. I love providing a loving and nurturing environment for all of my daycare babies.
